Pilates
Pilates Mat classes aim to introduce you to an increased understanding and awareness of Pilate’s principles, to promote core strength, relaxation, flexibility and to increase mind body awareness.
Our Method:

- Importance on beginning movement from a central core of stability (lumbo-pelvic region)
- Precision of movement
- Awareness of breath
- Continued flowing movement
- Altering abnormal patterns of movement to achieve a carry over effect into daily function
Mat work: Combination of the original 34 Pilates exercises on the mat that are designed to promote core stability, flexibility, endurance, postural and body awareness and to correct muscle imbalances.
